Τι νέο υπάρχει στο IOS Rentals v1.3

Σήμερα δημοσιεύθηκε η έκδοση 1.3 του λογισμικού ενοικιάσεων αυτοκινήτων, μοτοσυκλετών και σκαφών. Η νέα έκδοση φέρνει πάρα πολλές νέες λειτουργίες και βελτιώσεις στο ήδη πανίσχυρο σύστημα online κρατήσεων κάνοντας το IOS Rentals ακόμα καλύτερο. Οι υπάρχοντες πελάτες μπορούν να κατεβάσουν δωρεάν τη νέα έκδοση μέσα από τον πίνακα ελέγχου του IOS Reservations (ενότητα Ενημερώσεις).

Sub-companies

Sub-companies is a major new feature of IOS Rentals. They are copies of the main rental company with different title, contact information, payment methods, rental terms, extra services, logo, included in price items, tax, surety fee and more. With sub-companies you can, among others, provide different prices and services to different sites (XML/JSON API connections) and thus create different marketing strategies with the same vehicles fleet. You can, for example, have your main company titled as Super rent-a-car and 2 sub-companies titled as Cheap rentals and Luxury rentals respectively. The contact information and rest details of these companies may be the same or different.

Many features of IOS Rentals became company based. For instance you can create different extra services, like child seats and insurance, with different prices, for each sub-company and display them in different sites. When a customer makes a reservation he receives an email from that sub-company and the PDF voucher he receives also displays the details of that sub-company.

Improved payment system

Payment modules in IOS Rentals v1.3 can be copied and you can create different instances of them with different settings, for different sub-companies/sites. You can, for example have Paypal and Bank deposit payment methods in site A and Alpha Bank and Bank deposit (with different settings) payment methods in site B. Also Alpha Bank e-Commerce payment method now supports payments via Masterpass.

Information for the customer in PDF voucher

Many improvements made to the automatically generated PDF voucher. The biggest of them is the option to add your own data in PDF voucher. You will find the new feature to the top right Settings menu under the name Information for the customer. Via a user friendly interface you can create multilingual, company-based, data (titles, paragraphs, lists, even images) which will be attached to the reservation PDF voucher. There are unlimited use cases. You can, for example, provide information to the customer regarding your office location, cancellation policy, rental terms, insurances, or you can display a picture of your offices, your personnel, etc.

Cancel/Change reservation request

Customers can now send cancellation, change and information requests regarding their existing reservations. In API plugin below the availability search button a small link added which, if pressed, open a modal window via which a customer can request to cancel a reservation, or change it, or provide additional information. This link is been displayed automatically if you have enabled the Reservation cancel setting in IOS Rentals.
